Maria’s strong interest in energy efficiency brought her to SEEDS in 2023. Maria started her involvement with SEEDS as a volunteer for the Energy Efficiency TEAM during the 2023 summer. By the fall 2023 Maria joined the Board as a Member-at-Large. When asked if she could take on being Chair in 2024, Maria was humbled with the request, but glad to help. The support, friendliness and flexibility of the board is infectious and motivates Maria to continue working with this great organization even though she lives in Monroe County.
