You don’t have to be an expert in sustainable energy to be of service. We are seeking individuals who wish to help our mission by donating a couple of hours virtually or in the office each week, by helping us coordinate forums, workshops, and fundraiser parties, or by being our member/volunteer coordinator.

Other Opportunities:

Home Energy Efficiency Assessments- Volunteers will be learning about home energy efficiency and accompanying our other volunteer adult supervisor/assessors on home energy assessments. Volunteers will also be helping non-profit facilities improve energy efficiency. Volunteers will generate reports and gather data from homeowners who have had their homes assessed in the past. Training will be provided.  This program received a 2016 PA Governor’s Award for Environmental Excellence.    Volunteer application here.

 Solar Assessments/Education- Volunteers will learn how to perform solar energy assessments and provide education to homeowners interested in installing systems.  

SEEDS Website
The website (www.seedsgroup.net) needs regular maintenance and updating, posting of content, and basic troubleshooting.  

Office/Administrative
SEEDS occasionally has basic clerical and data entry needs.  

 Newsletter
Brenna (editor) could use volunteers for producing newsletter content including writing stories, researching topics, providing photographs, etc.   

 Year-End Appeal & Sponsor Letter Campaign
Assist with the distribution of the year end campaign and sponsorship requests including stuffing envelopes, writing notes, and labeling envelopes. 

 Outreach  

Tabling events throughout the year on SEEDS
