March 22, 2018

YIPEE! It’s almost here!!!!

Where can you eat local food, drink local beer and get great baskets of goodies while supporting the environment?  Why at the SEEDS annual fundraiser and SWAPAPALOOZA of course!

Please RSVP HERE.

On Thursday May 3rd, SEEDS (Sustainable Energy Education & Development Support) will host its annual fundraiser auction with SWAPAPALOOZA at The Cooperage, at 1030 Main Street in Honesdale. Doors open at 5:30. Festivities begin at 6:00 pm. Dinner is available for purchase from Mustard Seed Café! Some of the exciting gifts that have been donated to our auction so far include a Fall Foliage Tour of Wayne County –departing from Cherry Ridge Airport in a Cessna 210; a Guided Bird Walk; An overnight stay at beautiful Lacawac Sanctuary, Ellen Silberlicht pottery, framed artwork and so much more.  So many baskets and other items will be available, just in time to shop for Mother’s Day.  SEEDS is very grateful to the many businesses and individuals who donate wonderful items to help cover general operating costs for SEEDS.

What’s a SWAPAPALOOZA?

In addition to the auction items, SEEDS will continue the SWAPAPALOOZA tradition. This fast-paced recycling event is fun for all, whether you participate or just watch. Bring in 1 item you no longer love, and SWAP it for another item…for FREE!  Past SWAP items included bird houses, tools, jewelry, plants, exercise equipment, motorcycle helmets, hedge trimmers, artwork, candlesticks, certainly there is something for everyone! Limit 1 item per person.

This year, SEEDS is celebrating our 10th Anniversary, so please join us. Please bring your friends, your checkbook and help support SEEDS.

Please RSVP HERE.
