OUR LOCAL FOOD HUB – Tuesday Night April 15th at The Cooperage
March 22, 2014Come hear about the Wayne County Food Hub – an effort to stimulate the economy of our local farming community by purchasing food from our local farmers and producers. It is already happening! And has already created training and job opportunities!
SEEDS wants to help organize a greater effort to support local food production and consumption. Come learn how you can benefit. Or learn how you might help!
Panelists will be discussing existing food hub initiatives, their community benefits, and how each of us can contribute to a larger effort.
This program is free and open to all.
Walk-Ins are also welcome!
A special thanks goes out to The Wayne County Employment Coalition for the development of this program.
