ANOTHER SOLAR INSTALLATION AS A RESULT OF SEEDS DIY SOLAR WORKSHOPS!
Ed Zygmunt attended the SEEDS Do-It-Yourself (DIY) Solar Workshop this past June and took the leap in October after getting approval from Claverack Rural Electric Co-op, his utility in northwestern Lackawanna county. In November he completed the installation of eleven 305watt panels for 3.4kw of total capacity, with future plans to install 10 more panels. Ed says: “The do-it-yourself solar course gave me to confidence to finally say to myself ‘I can do this’. With their hands-on DIY class, SEEDS instructors Jack Barnett and Blair Buselli provided me the simple guidance I needed to finally take the plunge into renewable energy. Amber and I are eternally grateful to SEEDS for helping us carry our long-held dream 93 million miles to capture clean energy from the sun.”

Congratulations to Amber and Ed!
SEEDS is hoping to hold our June 2018 DIY Solar Workshop actually on-site at a local non-profit where SEEDS volunteers will be installing a solar PV system. Look for more information on that coming soon!
