Shannon Cilento

Originally from Mexico, NY, Shannon earned Bachelor’s degrees in Anthropology and International Studies with a minor in Museum Studies (Art History concentration) from the State University of New York at Oswego in 2015. Following her studies at Oswego State, Shannon attended graduate school at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY and received her Master’s degree in Historic Preservation Planning in 2017.

In addition to her role at SEEDS, Shannon is the Community Development Program Manager at Sullivan Renaissance in Liberty, NY. Prior to her current position, Shannon worked for the Upper Delaware Council in Narrowsburg, NY, the Sullivan County Division of Planning in Monticello, NY, Discover Downtown Westbrook in Westbrook, Maine, Cleveland Restoration Society in Cleveland, Ohio, and conducted research on the codfishery and its related architecture in rural Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.

Shannon lives in Rock Hill, NY. She serves on the Sullivan County Chamber Foundation Board, and is a member of the Rotary Club of Monticello, Leadership Sullivan Class of 2020, and the Hudson Valley Pattern for Progress Fellows Program Class of 2019.
