SEEDS BOOK SWAP

Since 2012, the Free Book Swap has handled 125,000 pieces of paper media! This event sees that beloved treasures are reused locally or properly recycled, with one steadfast goal: No books end up in landfills.

125,000 Books Donated
Our dedicated volunteers count and sort every single book!

63,000 Re-homed
Our goal is to locally rehome as many books as possible each year!

10,000 lbs Shipped
This event has shipped 10,000 pounds of books to support global and domestic literacy efforts.

Many education, nonprofit and agency organizations have benefited from this free event, and are welcome to attend! Families and individuals are welcome to browse a selection spanning from baby’s board books to adult science fiction novels and Amsterdam travel books to college textbooks on zoology. There is a little bit of everything and guaranteed something for everyone!
